Shenoy Rujitha T R, Assistant Professor

Vibrant, Shenoy Rujitha T R is going to contribute a chapter in the upcoming book  Access to Biomedical Technologies: biomedical patents and sustainable development (OUP publishers, 2015).

Shenoy Rujitha T R has her specialization in Intellectual Property Rights and Commercial Law and she is pursuing Ph.D. on “Patentability issues in Emerging Technologies” from Inter University Centre for IPR Studies, Cochin University of Science & Technology. She has worked as a Guest Lecturer at School of Legal Studies CUSAT for one year and Assistant Professor in  Gujarat National  Law University  for three years. She was also a Consultant for Green Peace India Society for research on “patents and related laws, with special emphasis on patents on agricultural products”.

 She was the co-ordinator of

  • Global IPR Symposium on “Contemporary IPR Issues and Sustainable Development: A Way Forward for Cooperation between Stakeholders of Developing and Developed Countries” organised by  GNLU-GeorgeWashington University Law School & US INDIA Business Council on10 – 11 December 2012.
