“Study on Testdata Protection in India” funded by the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India

Project on “Development of Databases on IPR materials in SLS” supported by the MHRD (2003-05).

This database consists of the abstracts of the records on intellectual property rights and related topics contained in the back volumes of the journals available at the School of Legal Studies Library, Cochin University of Science and Technology.  Our library has a collection of 3,800 back volumes of 200 general law journals.  Also, the library houses 303 back volumes 14 Intellectual Property Right journals in its Depository of IPR Materials.  Each issue of all these volumes is scanned and then the records relevant to IPR are indexed and abstracted.  After excluding the journals/reports that lack any IPR related material, the database now consists of more than 7500 unit records selected from 3500 volumes of 74 journals.
This database is developed at the Centre for Intellectual Property Rights Studies, School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology during 2003-2005.  This project is undertaken with the full financial support of the Department of Secondary and Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India.
